Bently Nevada™ 3500/42 176449-02 Proximitor Seismic Monitor

Description

The Bently Nevada™ 3500/42 176449-02 Proximitor Seismic Monitor provides critical machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to trigger alarms. It facilitates seamless communication of essential machine information to both operations and maintenance personnel.

As a four-channel monitor, it accepts inputs from proximity and seismic transducers. The unit conditions these signals to deliver precise vibration and position measurements, then compares the processed signals with user-programmable alarm thresholds.

Via the 3500 Rack Configuration Software, each channel can be programmed to monitor and report the following parameters:

Radial vibration

Acceleration

Eccentricity

REBAM

Differential expansion

Circular acceptance region

Thrust position

Shaft absolute

Velocity

Shaft absolute (radial vibration)

Shaft absolute (direct)

Shaft absolute (velocity)

Monitor channels are configured in pairs, with each pair capable of performing up to two of the listed functions simultaneously. For instance, Channels 1 and 2 can execute one function while Channels 3 and 4 operate on another (or the same) function.

Depending on configuration, each channel typically conditions its input signal to generate various parameters referred to as static values. Users can set alert setpoints for every active static value, as well as danger setpoints for any two of the active static values.
